Who we are

Fennec Ship is operated by MP PARTNER LLC, 75 E 3rd St, Ste 7, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”). We provide order confirmation, warehousing, shipping and cash-on-delivery collection for online stores selling in Spain, Portugal and Lithuania, plus tools to build product pages and run Facebook and Instagram ads. For merchant account data we are the controller. For the order data of a merchant’s customers we act on the merchant’s behalf (processor). Contact: support@fennecship.com.

Information we collect

• Merchant account: name, email, password (stored hashed), store name, domain and settings.
• Order information: order number, products, quantities and prices, and the customer’s name, phone number, email and delivery address.
• Delivery information: tracking numbers and courier status updates.
• Facebook and Instagram (only if you connect them): see “Meta Platform Data” below.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and pages requested, in our web server logs.

We do not collect payment card details.

How we use it and our legal basis (GDPR)

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): running your account, confirming, packing and delivering orders, collecting cash on delivery, tracking, statements, invoices and payouts.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): keeping the service secure, preventing fraud and abuse, fixing errors and improving the service.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): connecting your Facebook or Instagram account. You can withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting; this does not affect processing done before.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): keeping invoices and accounting records.

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for our own advertising.

Meta Platform Data (Facebook and Instagram)

If you connect Facebook through Facebook Login for Business, we receive and keep an encrypted access token, your Facebook user id and name, the ids and names of the Business, ad account, Page, pixel and Instagram account you select, the performance of ads in your ad account, your Page’s recent posts, and Instagram messages sent to your connected account.

• We use this data only to provide the features you asked for: creating and managing ads in your own ad account, showing their results, letting you promote your own posts, and showing and answering your Instagram messages in Fennec Ship.
• We do not sell it, license it or share it with data brokers, advertising networks or any other third party.
• We do not use it for surveillance, or to make decisions about eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance or similar.
• We do not combine it with other data to build profiles of people, and we do not use it to train AI models.
• It is shown only to you and the team members you invite to your store.
• We comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

Who we share it with (service providers)

• Hosting and database: IONOS SE, servers in Spain (EU). Our database and email server run on these servers.
• Logistics: our warehouse and logistics partners in Spain and Lithuania and the courier delivering the parcel. They receive only what is needed to deliver the order.
• AI providers: Google (Gemini API) and Groq, Inc. We send them product information (product names, descriptions, prices and photos) to write ad copy and product pages and to create product images. We do not send your customers’ personal data or Instagram messages to AI models.
• Meta Platforms: when you connect Facebook, we send your ads and replies to Meta on your instruction.
• Shopify: only if you connect a Shopify store; we then exchange that store’s order data with Shopify.

We do not disclose data to public authorities unless the law requires it.

International transfers

Our servers are in Spain, in the EU. Some processing happens outside the European Economic Area: MP PARTNER LLC is a US company, and Google, Groq and Meta process data in the United States. For these transfers we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), together with encryption in transit and restricted access.

How long we keep it

• Facebook access token and selections: until you disconnect, remove the app on Facebook or ask for deletion, then deleted immediately. The token itself expires after about 60 days unless you reconnect.
• Instagram messages: 90 days from receipt, then deleted automatically; deleted at once on a data deletion request.
• Ad performance and Page posts: read from Meta when you open the page and not stored in our database.
• Merchant account: while your account is open; deleted within 30 days after you close it.
• Orders, invoices and accounting records: 6 years, as Spanish commercial and tax law requires.
• Web server logs: 14 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Write to support@fennecship.com; we answer within one month. Customers of a store can also contact the store they bought from. You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), the Portuguese CNPD or the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate.

Data deletion

Disconnect Facebook in Fennec Ship, remove Fennec Ship in your Facebook Business integrations settings, or email us. The token, your selections and the Instagram messages linked to your account are deleted. Full instructions: fennecship.com/data-deletion.

Cookies

fennecship.com uses only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and a security (CSRF) cookie. They are needed for the service to work, so they do not require consent under EU law, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies on fennecship.com. Product pages that merchants publish with Fennec Ship may load the merchant’s own Meta or TikTok pixel; the merchant is responsible for those and for asking their visitors’ consent. You can delete cookies in your browser at any time.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access tokens are encrypted at rest and kept server-side only. Access to servers is restricted to authorised staff.
